Quakex 1.01 Music Question

I fired this back up and got the new DOPA mission from the 20th anniversary to run just fine. Does anyone know if it's possible to run the music from a folder on the hard drive or can it only be run from CD? If it can be run from the hard drive, where does the music folder go? If it must be run from CD I'm going to burn a CD...what file types would the track02, track03, etc. need to be?
