Foolishly Deleted A File Now My Xbox Will Only Play Games, Not Dvds

I was messing around, not really having any idea what was happening and I deleted something. Now my xbox will only play games, not DVD's and also it will not boot to the original xbox dashboard.

I used the splintercell exploit to mod it. Can anyone help me out a bit and maybe tell me what I deleted that it would do this and if I can fix it?

This all took place last year, I just found it so I don't really remember what I did

probably easiest if you just download hexen "heimdalls xbox engineering disk" boot up with that and do a 1 click softmod install.
that will probably fix all your issues, and saves us trouble shooting what it could be untill we find out what happend.
