My uncle gave me his old xbox it already had the xbit installed. Everything works great its got the pokey little factory hard drive though. I plan to install an extra 120 i have lying around, its already formated for fat 32 which i know is not correct for the xbox. what do i need to do to install the hard drive. Also the xbox has been sitting in my uncle's closet since the 360 came out so its been sitting for a long time. I want to make sure anything updateable is up to date. as far as dashboard, or software, mods etc... where do i start it seems X-bit web site is shut down. The xbox has emulators already on it are they stored on the hard drive. or the disc i play all the roms off of. i have the xbox hooked up to my home network router via ethernet but i cant find it in windows explorer on my windows 7 machine. I would love to put this machine in spare room to stream movies etc off my pc to it can anybody help a new guy out please thanks.
