All I Have Is An Original Xbox1 Hdd And A Pc

looked at all the harddrive tools at this link and xplorer360 doesn't work (probably because my hdd is the wrong size or something)  and wxHdd hits a runtime exception when i give it the location of my xbox1 device

i have a soft modded xbox but didn't want to open it up unless that is my only chance of reading the data off my old hard modded xbox drive?

Well, first you'll need the hdd lock password or the eeprom.
Using Xplorer360 you have to follow a certain procedure.
I'm too lazy to do the research for you but there should be some clues here about connecting xbox hdd to a pc. Of course you would apply the knowledge you find there according to your situation. Good luck!

if your hard modded "were" it possible that the hard disk is unlocked..

so hook it up to your pc boot to windows then run xplorer360 to see if you can connect to it..

if not you may want to try xboxhdm again.
connect the hard disk to your pc as master. and the cd/dvd rom as slave. then boot to xboxhdm.

try unlocking it with a master password using dostools.
