i made a nrg file using nero from an xbox legal backed up dvd and i want to extract the content of the nrg file but all programs say its an unknown file format , plz help

Try Magic ISO you can download it for free, and the new version supports it.

put your legal backup back in your PC drive an duse nero to extract as an ISO this time

you do it the same way you made the nrg, just change the output setting to iso isntead of nrg, then it can be extracted with any xbox ISO extracting too

Just FTP the files over to your PC again. In the time it took you to write all these posts you could have backed up with dvd2xbox, created an ISO with Qwix or Craxtion or simply FTP'ed the files over to your PC.

And please do not bump your posts after 20 mintues. You must wait 24 hours to bump a post.
