What version of Xbox Media Centre are you using?  And which skin are you using with it?

i think you can set which dash your xbox boots to when you choose return to dah open up your guisettings.xml
 and find

<myprograms>
        <autoffpatch>true</autoffpatch>
        <dashboard>C:\xboxdash.xbe</dashboard>
        <gameautoregion>false</gameautoregion>
        <ntscmode>0</ntscmode>
        <sep1></sep1>
        <sep2></sep2>
        <sep3></sep3>
        <trainerpath>select folder</trainerpath>
        <usedashpath>true</usedashpath>
    </myprograms>
 see where it says <dashboard>  just change that to wherever you have unleashX installed
 eample     <dashboard>C:\evoX.xbe</dashboard>
or wherever you have unleashX installed to    hope this helps

Oh thanks for that.  I thought it rebooted the xbox and went straight back to the default dash.  I didn't know you could specify one.

hey np back when xbox modding was new there were all kinds of things i felt were lacking so i had to teach myself

hope this works. just soft modded my xbox with unleashx but want to run XBMC in aps folder. Hope i dont screw anything up.
