Thomson Dvd/cd Compatible

Everything has been going good on my Xbox for over a year.  I got the new OXM with the Outrun 2 demo in it and, like an idiot, I play it.  It must have overwritten some files on my hdd because it now boots up to the MS dash (but Xecuter2 still shows up underneath the X when it boots up).  I'm trying to make a EvoX boot disc, but I don't seem to have any media that is compatible with the Thomson drive.  I know it may not be the same for everyone, but what CDRWs or DVD +/- R/Ws have worked on Thomson drives?  Any help is appreciated.
