I got the buffy chaos bleeds+1 trainer from xbins

the +1 is an inventory hack, it doesnt subtract from inventory when you use an item. this works great, I can use the same medpak 30 times and survive.

problem: stakes

I've got 5 stakes, and after breaking them it still says I have 5 but...
after breaking all 5 she wont pull out another one
and of course since inventory says I've got 5 it won't let me pick one up either.
so here I am stuck with no dang pointy sticks and all these damn vamps!
wtf?

I'm thinking that it's not "using" the stakes like an inventory item so they disappear even tho the inventory still says I've got them...

this sucks, anyone else run into this?
can anyone fix it?
