If yo are doing searches on common values like 1 and 0, you'll get any results.. If you search on more unique values you can greatly decrease the amount of results (and time it takes to get your results).  it should take about 10-15 seconds to do the search, unless it has a lot of results, which takes longer (I assume the issue with that is it can't write data extremely fast to your telnet session)
