you got very interesting points devguy...

first of all..mircrosoft needs to have the 512 ddr stick of ram...to be on the safe side.....i don't think having 3 cpu's on the xbox2 will be true at all...not unless they are willing to sell it around 600.00 to 900.00 bucks and they would still be losing money.

also...not having backwards compatability is a big no no...mircrosoft is going to shoot its ass if they don't have it....

about the hardrive...it would be very convinient for the xbox2 to have a built in harddrive...that's what make it different from ps2...that flashmemory thing would just suck and cost a lot....

i just hope they make the right decisions...else we are going to still see  ps2 be in 1st place like usual........ :P  :)

$18 for 2 gigs of flash memory

I've heard it said that a large amount of flash memory would be even more expensive to add than the current HDD solution in the Xbox1. Well, I just so happen to have a good friend that works for a little company by the name of Micron. If I remember correctly, Micron supplies (or supplied, at least) DRAM for the Xbox1 and they are one of the largest chip manufacturers in the world. During conversation over a brandy snifter full of beer last night, this friend of mine told me that Micron is currently working on a two Gigabyte flash solution that they are supplying for a well known PCS phone manufacturer. I asked him curiously what these units are being purchased for and without hesitation, he replied "18 bucks per chip". I also asked him if he knew if MS was making any similar purchases, but he replied with a "no". Still, the pricing is a very interesting tidbit of information.

thats from........           http://xbox2.gamegossip.com/' target='_blank'>http://xbox2.gamegossip.com/
