It baffles the mind why people make polls like theses...

The units are still not "real" for the consumer. All there are more or less still rumours, innuendo and loose and sparse specs that are subject to change.

On an Xbox site.. xbox fans will gravitate a certain way. Fanboys for other consoles will do likewise.

This situation is made worse in this forum as none of these consoles exist for the consumer so we are all working on what the media feeds us.. and nothing more.

Does Sony have one of the largest libraries? Sure. So Does Nintendo.

Will Xbox Work even harder to build it's next library? Of course. They are committed.

MS/Xbox goals and market aren't exactly that of Sony and nintendo's. They showed that with their marketing, and some of the titles released. We still don't know all of the plans for xbox in the future. But one thing is clear.. it is not just a game platform.

So much time is wasted on what if's and maybe's in this thread and others in this forum.

personally i enjoy the opportunity to speculate and debate (intelligently) the possible pros and cons of the future systems, maybe someday someone will be able to dig up and old thread in this forum and say "hey, i was right, i knew EXACTLY how it was gonna go"

but yes, it does attract alot of lamers and fanboys as well

i say ps3 just because they have been around longer but the xbox 2 will sell too

I have no doubt that the first next-gen system i'll get will be the new nintendo console... but i'll buy an xbox 2 some time after.
i like nintendo very much, and most of the best games i played in my life were made by nintendo, or made for nintendo systems.
i love my xbox too, mainly because it offers me so many things that the gamecube doesn't, and it has great games too.

about playstation... well i just don't like it, and will never buy one. sure the ps2 has good games too, but the best ones are always ported to gamecube or xbox, most of the time with upgrades that makes them better than the ps2 version lol.

This is just my personal opinion...

MS should stay out of the gaming console genre and stick to the computer stuff.

And besides, there may be a chance to get into flame wars like this one, so...
