Are you kidding me? Who pays for software these days? There is a FREE version of every type of program you could ever need out there! I mean, paying for an FTP Client? You have to be kidding me...

How in the hell does it affect anyone differently if:

1) You crack a pay FTP Client.

or

2) You install a freeware FTP Client.

Either way, no one is going to get money, right?

It is not like you cracked one and paid for another, and you would have paid for both but you didn't because you found a crack. That is the ONLY type of scenario that hurts developers...

Actually, wouldn't the developer rather have you use their program over a free program anyway? Maybe you will become loyal to the product and purchase it later, who knows?

Ahh... I give up, I guess I will just never understand how people can think so "black and white". There is a GRAY area!

So what's the difference, it's not like it costs them anything for me to use it, so how does it hurt anything

And on top of that, you were watching THEIR ADVERTISEMENTS. So wouldn't they rather you see them then not?  wink.gif

It is only Piracy if you would have paid for it in the first place, IMHO.

Do any of these programs offer faster speeds over another or is it much of a muchness?

To add to the whole its illegal debate. I can guarentee that everyone here is breaking copyright with there xbox or does that not count?

I've been looking for replacement software for all the trial version of stuff i have on my pc.

since flashfxp is pay I looked around and found one I actually like better.
it's called ultrafxp. it's basically a clone, you can even throw out those raw commands like flashfxp. totally free solution I haven't found any bugs in it at all. even has a renaming function for those long filenames.

sweet thanks a bunch..been looking for alternitives..myself..couldnt find nything i liked.this si great..awsome!  :thumb:

UnleashX can rename the files for you. You have to enable this feature in one of the settings menu. I think it is in the network settings, but not sure.
Once you enable it, it will work with any FTP client.
