jester.gif   My feet are firmly planted in UX territory.

I love the 10 most recent list.

HD temp?
You will need to add a sensor to your case for that.

I think this dash is awsome. Only thing is the dashboard itself like kinda dark compared to EVOX. I have tried different skins. Also if you can add trainers in dash like EVOX then there would be no reason to use EVOX anymore.

Bug:  Autoload DVD program freezes when network is enabled and the xbox is not connected to a network.  This only happens when a DVD is in the drive when you power on the xbox.  When I am connected to my PC or network it works fine but when not connected it will lockup the dash unless network is disabled in the settings.

Besides that I love everything about this dash.  I have used it since the first release and it has come very far.  Keep up the good work.

No need to add a sensor... because Evox already shows the HD temperature using the HDD Smart capacity. So I think UnleashX can do this too!

on xbox to xbox transfers i still get failed transfers, i've tried this with the 3 xbox's in my house and none of them will transfer any files at all to each other successfully, it either cuts off right after the first file transfer or after making a folder then fails after transferring a file, i'm really curious if anyone else has had this problem with UnleashX?

Yes, I've had this problem before too. The strange thing was that it used to work perfectly for me, but at some indetermined point in time it stopped doing so. It was really great when it worked though.

I got the new unleashx V0.36.0620a Build 499.  I copied the default.xbe to the c: drive and renamed it as msdasbox.xbe. and rename the original.old and keep the config.xml.  I rebooted but it still loaded up w/ the old unleashx and not the new one.  Any ideas?

This is cut and pasted directly from the Config.xml included with the latest build.

<Item Action="GameManager">Game Saves Manager</Item>

I realize it used to be "SavesManager" in previous builds but, either way.  I've tried it both ways and can't get it to work either way.

Is it working correctly for you?

I have this problem too, can't solved it up to now.  sad.gif

There appears to be a problem when using a video for a screensaver.

I have left the screensaver default of 60 seconds.  After 60 seconds the screensaver comes on and the video displays correctly.  Now I press a button on the controller and it goes back to the menu.  So far so good.  But, if I leave the xbox alone and wait another 60 seconds to let the screensaver come back up, it will, but this time the video plays at double the speed.  If I repeat the process the video plays even faster and so on and so on.  I have to reboot in order for the screensaver to play correctly again.

I am using a wmv file with the proper encoding for the xbox.  Can anyone else confirm this problem?  Is this a bug?

Yeah i can confirm it, altough i haven't gone to such lengths to investigate the matter. But my impression was that it played speed-up until it catched up to where it left of the last time.. Because i "kinda" remember the wmv to play normally after a while.. But... it could also be my schizophrenic nature. But confirmation i have given, and some moral support____!!??!

What i did was just leave the default.xbe and replaced the config.xml.

Actually, it is the other way round - you can safely leave the config.xml from yr previous install, but you *must* replace the default.xbe as that is the new program.
Better yet, rename it to suit your boot-up preference in yr bios and put in C:. It's worth it, best version yet! biggrin.gif

edit: noticed yr sig, so you are running UnleashX as boot-up dash already right?
As I use 4983 also, which boots avalaunch.xbe first, I rename unleash as avalaunch.xbe, and leave Evox as evoxdash.xbe as "back-up" for trainers etc.

My box is a 1.0 mobo, Samsung drive, Aladdin advance chip, x24981.06 bios booting unleashx.xbe from c:

Cheers man, hope that helps! Keep up the awesome work, this dash is brilliant...I'm using it as the default dash for any install I do!  biggrin.gif
