Finally !

ReleashED v0.04a Public Alpha

is a skinning utility for all you (advanced) Unleash-x skinners out there!

Features:
Create your own skin by customizing nearly all tags and settings:
- Change images and image positions
- Change menu and menu position
- Add text and text position(s)
- Easy apply your own colorscheme
- Import your skin for future editing (only ReleashED skins supported !)
and much more !

Still to do :
- Add shapes
- Add visual menu / text / image creator

I included my own skin "Full Power GT" which was created with ReleashED as a sample skin.
Twilights "Alien Device" skins do also work with ReleashED.

You need MS Framework.net in order to run ReleashED.
Feel free to host / distribute this file on your website.

The .nfo file said to report bugs here so, here it is.

Open ReleashED.
Click File >> Import.
Click Cancel.
Error!

Just lettin' ya know. If you'd like more help with testing or possibly coding, let me know. I'm pretty good with VB.NET and have taught my self quit a bit of C# over the past few months. **shrug**

Thanx 4 reporting,

this a known bug.
Just don't click cancel at this time.It's the only way to get around this.
will be fixed in the next version along with some other nasty bugs.
I'll let you know,if i need 'serious' help ;-)

Currently i'm developing a simple GUI (menu and image positioner),so it might take some time until i release an updated version.
i'll keep you informed on any bigger progress of ReleashED

To be honest, I haven't used the program yet. I've actually never used UnleashX before. I was bored at work and checkin' the scene for news (i check it every 30 min or so... i'm a freak, i know...) I'm waitin' on my new modchip (traded my old xbox to a friend, long story), So when I get the chip in I'll definitely check out UnleashX. Looks hella' cool. And I'll try out your app. I have a few Skin ideas floating around. If I think of any suggestions, I'll let you know.

Where do I get MS Framework.net?

The MS.net framework is available from the micro$oft website as a free download.. also you should be able to get it by using the windows update tool from your start menu..


EDIT: I was going to give you a direct link to the download page on micro$oft's website, but whenever you type the work Micro$oft on this message board.. it changes it to MS automatically.. so I couldn't give you a good link... sorry, but it's really a fault of the message board.. very irritating..

 I wonder how much server overhead is saved in the long run by filtering a 9 character word down to a 2 character abbreviation at viewtime, as opposed to parsing each message on post, checking for the filtered word, or if any is saved at all.
