Ps3 Beeps 3 Times And Green Light Goes To Red

I have a ps3 that when i turn on after 2 seconds it beeps 3 times (fast) and the green light goes to a blinking red light .
The ps3 shows nothing on screen or give no sound. does any one know what the problem might be
