Ouya: A New Kind Of Video Game Console
« on: July 01, 2013, 12:13:00 PM »

I just stumbled on to a review of this the other day, released last week. I really like the idea but it has some major issues. The biggest one being that it apparently needs a credit card on setup just to get to the menu. This is utter dirty sh*t! That right there is a deal breaker for me.  Other than that I guess it's quite buggy and a lot of games are not responding properly, rushed and incomplete software.

It does have HUGE potential, but so  does my MK808 Android TV box. I love the open source, homebrew, indie side of console and I'd rather play Plants VS Zombies over COD any day of the week. I hope they work out the bugs and fix the startup, and I hope they port the good stuff to google Play store so we can all play Dubwars on any android.

Seen this thought was pretty cool.

Might be some competition for MS, Sony, and Nintendo?

If you donate a min $99 you get console before it hits stores with an estimated release date of March 2013.

They have more packages for more $ for developers and such as well.  $30 for second controller
