And McCarthy was on a witch hunt....Applying random things to Communism...Which is different than Socialism btw...
I'm not saying that just because Obama is a socialist, that it makes him evil. I'm saying we shouldn't vote him into office based on him wanting to increase the size of the federal government, and put tax plans in effect that increase the socialism of this country...Yeah...I said increase...
Abolition of all forms of taxpayer-funded assistance (welfare, food stamps, public housing, Health care, etc.)=Libertarian.
Socialism in this country started with Franklin D. Roosevelt.

In your example:
Last week: He now distances himself from ayers...He was stupid not to do that way earlier.
This week: If that's not what he really wants then he shouldn't have said it...That was stupid.
Next week: He didn't think anyone would have problems with his pastor? That was stupid....

I'm not about to go so far as to call the man evil.....But he sure is stupid. Like when Hillary said assassinate...That was stupid.
You know people said the same thing with bush...They said he was an evil oil monger, or that he was plain stupid...Most of the time both at once...When really I think it's the latter.

So yeah...I don't want another stupid president. And that's if I was just to comment on your examples.

I'm actually out of work atm....And once Obama becomes president, and he will, I'm left to wonder if I should even bother getting a job....Free money would be nice....It would be against what I believe.....But what better way to point out the flaws of his "tax cut" than to exploit it?

Now...What is it that I'm not understanding?
There's a lot of different manifestations of both of these ideologies, But I don't think it's relevant to go into detail about them...

Welfare, food stamps, public housing, Health care, etc.
The $700 billion dollar plan, which would include buying banks....
Obama's tax cuts, which are really credits to those who can't afford....
You want me to believe that these things are not a move towards socialism?

I don't think the country would ever move towards full on communism....And maybe not even full on socialism...

I really don't understand what you think I'm confused about.....Are you thinking that I should be calling Obama a communist? He's not. Completely abolishing capitalism and whittling government down to a dictatorship is no where near his intention...

If you think I'm making a stretch to call his "spreading the wealth around" as socialism, then you have a point to a degree...It's not full on socialism because there would still be a separation of classes....But it's a move towards it....Socialism is the closest word to describe it. If you've got a better word for it, then let's have it.

Well I'm just a simple  Poor Unamerican Socialist terrorist supporter, but I think taking one quote and drawing a conclusion this EPIC in scope is just plain stupid.

 I won't try to explain it you as I know you already believe this to be fact, and arguing about this won't change anyone's mind (never my intention anyway). Most McCain supporters have already embraced his bullshit scare tactics, and his partys push for this division of the american people into:
