So I Bought Another New Car
« on: April 26, 2010, 03:00:00 PM »

I got the itch to get another old yota...

I saw this beauty pop up on craiglist and couldn't turn it down.
1989 with a 22RE and a 5-speed
4" skyjacker lift 3" body lift and 35"x12.5" DC Mudders

The previous owner works full time in a body shop stripped it down to the frame POR15ed the whole thing, and then completely restored the body.

springs, shocks, steering box, ball joints, hubs, wheels tires, and brakes are all brand new with less than 100 miles on 'em

engine was from another truck and received a new head gasket, timing chain and water pump less than 200 miles ago as well.

thing runs and drives beautifully  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif)

interior is probably a 7 out of 10, small tear in the seat, a couple of cracks in the trim but overall nice shape.

only thing is needs is a new PS pump since the current one is leaking, I already bought a new one I'm just waiting for the new lines to arrive (figured I'd just replace all of it).

I'm also swapping the cluster in the dash for one that has a tach so I can get rid of the aftermarket unit.

the Isuzu Vehicross is for sale if anyone wants it :-D (awesome shape, my father is commissioning it for me at his dealership and all the sales people there keep complimenting me on how great condition it's in lol)
