Use a gel called DEP, extra hold sport for men. Works good don't put to much in or you could get flakes.

Why are you crapping on my thread? What did I do to you? Do you think you're funny? Like... I just don't get it. You're not special, anyone can put an emoticon.

Personally, DEP is crap. One asian I met used something called 'water gel' I tried it out, it literally was like water. Once u put it in it holds damn nice, but you cant see it or feel it. But he got it from Taiwan.
I use something called hair glue. XTG or something. It looks like a elmers glue bottole
and i just manged to find a pic:

The reason asians can spike their hair is because they're asian. Asians have thinner hair, and it clumps.
Just leave your hair how it is, comb it, but no gel.
