well i guess u could just get a firewall. I find that Norton Internet Security does a good job and rendering Kazaa useless.

My cousin told me about diet Kazaa. It's supposed to take care of all your problems. He said he found it on a german web site so I'm still looking for it.

Firewall is the way to go. Get one with app blocking capabilities.

If anyone wants it - I still have a copy on the installer of KAzaa Lite - the real one from that German web site.

I have had great luck with this version, howver. Although it looks really scammy, there is no adware and less bulllshit than regular kazaa. A neat feature is "Keep Searching More", which does exactly that. Lets you get hundreds - possibly thousands - of results at once. I reccomend this one.

I know this wasnt helpful to the original post, someone else above mentioned it.

edit - In the "About" section in help of the version I linked above, 'Yuri' is listed as one of the main developers. It also says he is the original German creator of Kazaa Lite. This is 100% true, this is a really good version.

FYI: (I posted this in another KAzaa thread but here it goes again)

Kazaa Lite is ILLEGAL. It says so in the user license agreement that you click when you first install. THis is because, its obviously a hardcore ripoff of Kazaa.

The good news is no one is going to care that you have illegal Kazaa software, they are too busy fighting for what you are illegally downloading with it.

I have no qualms with installing a version of a piece of software that does not install adware and virii on my system.

I was merely acting as a humble messenger, informing those who are unsure of the legality of KAzaa Lite.
