this is indicative of mismatched smc code being flashed to the box; double-check that you flashed compatible smc code (ie, falcon and not xenon/opus/etc).

I flashed back my original backup and it came back to life. smile.gif I'm not sure what the difference was this time around since I tried it before. I then wrote the Xell image to the chip and it shows the blinking LED so I'm going to install the CR and cross my fingers.

I guess I'm not allowed to edit my posts...

Xell booted up the third attempt within 2s. biggrin.gif The SMC must have been trashed by a bad write I guess but am glad it is sorted out now. Thanks for steering me back towards that direction!
