I've got an old iXtreme 1.51 modded Xbox that was banned. Is there a quick and easy way to flash it to stock provided this is true? I'd like to be able to use it on Live again.

my console was unbanned but now its banned again. i dont know whats going on.

Showing accounts are fine now. Matchmaking shows an error.

I wonder if they just rebanned everyone?

at first when i tested xbox live connection on my banned console it said "connected"
now it says failed and your console is banned.

Can confirm that my Banned console which was restored to live last night is now banned again!

Updated my avatar stuff, at least, and probably synched my stuff with my online avatar.

wow wierd stuff. Something i know for fact is that the upcoming dash update will update the firmware on your console so if M$ unbanned these consoles and let them take the update you would have a unmodded console.

I have seen a few discussions about this temp. unbanning. The most plausable thought seems to be that since the update will restore the DVD to "stock" firmware it would be best for M$ to allow all banned consoles back onto Live and flash them back to stock. This would have a huge boost on the potential Live subscriptions and DLC purchases. Most banned users have already purchased another console I assuem but I know for a fact that if the banned consoles I have were brought back to life I would either use them myself as second player stations or sell them as used consoles. Either way the boxes that are currently sitting in my spare bedroom are doing nothing to help M$ generate revenue. I am hopeful they will unban in the future but we all have to wait and see what happens.
