yeah.. i have been hoping for a psx emulator for a while b/c this seems like a fairly easily reached goal. pcsx is a damn open source emu that works almost 100%, and could be run on xbox linux, but a full port would be much better! imagine playing any psx game on the xbox!?? screw the ps2 for now.. that wont happen for a loooong time, if ever.
as for dreamcast emulators out there, well, there are a few out for pc, but im not surte of their speeds/completion or whatever. . . if it did come out, though, you wouldnt be able to play originals in the xbox, and burning dc games (for new people to the dc scene) is not easy.. hell finding the games to burn isnt that easy, especially now that the dc-scene is gying down. (you can just rent a game and burn it like a psx game). . Of course the emu could just emulate the data on the in a regular iso format. .
