i am king of dip shits.. i put a dvdr with a avi file on it into the xbox thinking the xbox would read it as a movie......NO now it flashes red and green and wont go to the main screen...?? i think i realy f ed up something ...any help??

A dvd with an AVI file won't kill an xbox.
Something else is wrong.

i have 100's of discs full of avi files that i use in many different xbox's on a daily basis .. something else went wrong ..

is the xbox modded ?

yah it modded with an old executer

what i think hapened was the xbox was looking at the disk as a new flash .....i just hope ididnt lose everything....im about to break down ...yep i think i felt a tear

if it has a modchip in it just download a setup disc like Slayers , boot it and fix your dash ..

does it load to an error screen now ? .. whats the number in the top corner ?

will rebooting slayers erase/ reformat the hard drive? (sorry if its a dumb question)..the light just flashes green to red

thanks for the feed baCK guys...i was an idiot as i said when i first posted..there was a short in a wire ..easy fix....nothing at all to do with the dvdr

^ like I said before, sticking a DVD into the drive wouldn't kill your console.
