What softmod are you using?

EDIT: And no offense, but why would you want to go from UnleashX to EvoX, Evox hasn't been updated since 2 years ago or more?

I had unleashX until a couple of days ago for about 2 years.  I changed to XBMC and it's really nice.  Like, REALLY nice.  Check out some of the screenshots from this forum.  It makes it look like a 360 and the features are awesome.  Also, XBMC has a nice shortcut tool that allows u to make it the default start up dashboard.  If ur modded box doesn't look flashy, what's the point

Despite what dash u end up using, find it off xbins, extract, ftp to ur apps folder, done

hang on is xbmc the same as evo ?? or is it totally diffrent

and i not sure what mod it is I think its a chip inside. ive not opened it yet to find out.

EvoX = Xbox BIOS
Evolution-X = Dashboard
Xbox Media Center (XBMC) = Application, but can be set as dashboard like I did

Evolution-X = old and crappy
XBMC = new and sexy

About ur chip, when u start up ur xbox do u have a special splash screen?  Does it say anything below the splash screen?

Naw u can keep them.  Although I'd really suggest ditching the evox idea.

So it shows the green X and it says micros0ft underneath?

FTP it to ur F:\Apps\ and it should be available as long as the folder as default.xbe in it

Man seriously....keep unleash x....or install xbmc...evox (umm thats what the short form of evolution x is) sucks dude dont use evox...i used it for like 3 days and switched back to unleash x......

yeah i think it does madeyes (greenx with MS) ill check in a min and let you know.

you know that your just gonna be using it as an application not your dash.....your gonna have to be switching all the time....look for a guide to install it as your dash..

Good choice, unleash is better than evox too btw.  For skinning help, stop into the XBMC forum, good stuff goin on there.

also its unleash x V0.37  how do i update it to 0.39

go to the settings and look for the live update icon...i think its called something like that i forgot..it automatically updates the dash...but i dont know i had problems updating by that so you should just get it off xbins and overwrite the old unleash x files with the new files...

If u get XBMC from xbins, in the tools directory, there are shortcuts to help make it the default dash.

Check out this link for help.  I say go with option 2, super easy
