Got Router Now I Have A Problem

this may or may not have anything to do with it, but is this router being used in conjunction with VOIP?

I, too, have noticed a slight drop in xbox-xbox transfer rates, but nothing as drastic as yours.
With the Xover cable I was getting 8000+kbps
but when both are connected to a router, i mostly get 6000-8000kbps
Forget about wireless - i am lucky if i get 500 smile.gif

VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol)- allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network.  So yea, I think vonage would count as that.

What dashboard are you using?

If you're using EvoX... switch to UnleashX or Avalaunch.
FTP transfers through EvoX are slow.

UnleashX and Avalaunch have a speed booster built into the dashboard for quicker data transfer.

i am using unleashx, speed is fine till it gets to the end of one particuler file and then it drops and keeps going past the file size until i cut it off.
