I have just successfully de-painted my jewel and now I gotta put the jewel back in. What is the best way to cut through? I only have a dremel and cutting through the metal will be a problem, so can I just take the metal sheeting right off? Sorry for n00bness, but i'm learning!

yes, you can just pry the shielding off..check this out...(go to C03b)

so i can just take off and discard the metal shielding? I know how to make the hole, but the shielding im most concerned about.

yup jus rip it right off (or pry it off if you want to keep it for some reason) just be careful some of its kinda sharp..and try not to break anything.
