You should be able to coldboot an installer and at least gain FTP access. You might even be able to FTP even while it is frozen.

boot to a boot disc with evox or any other program with ftp access and find the line in your config.xml file that says <Skin>[whatever the skin is here]</Skin>. try deleting that line and rebooting.

get a boot disc then. there is one on xbins in the evox section. it's a relatively small download. download it, burn it, and ftp into your xbox and fix the xml.

Yup, piece of cake.
Also, if you have a modchip that can run on its own and supports an FTP server (I think X3 is one), you could FTP in this way.

so you typed /msg xbins !list then used the username and password in the window that pops up? you used the username and password in your ftp program and connected to the place it says to? which step are you having trouble with?

did you download the premade iso?
there is evolutionx_3935_dummy_static.iso and NewHDEvox1.4.iso
*note, you obviously WONT do anything with the newhd one...you'll just use it for ftp access only.
burn it to a cd rw or a dvd-r and put it in your xbox. reboot and it should boot to the disc.

no. burn one of them
and dont burn the file, burn the compilation (for example, in nero you would go to open, then choose the iso (after selecting all isos and compilations from the little dropdown menu))

what do you mean? have you downloaded one yet? theyre in the evox part of xbins...just look around and you should find one of them.

the path is
xbox>apps>dashboards>evolution-x>_unofficial>evolutionx_3935_dummy_static.rar
open that with a program called winrar and extract the iso.

and to get unbanned, just wait a day or so and follow the rules next time. and are you sure youre banned? or did the connection just time-out? if it is just a timeout, you just have to retype the /msg xbins !list line and reconnect woth the password/username given.

somehow..........i didnt catch that. By the way my xbox freezes on bootup, so that was no help to me. why cant someone just send me the iso to my email or somethin. I dunno, im goin to bed and worryin about it tomorrow
