i downloaded a thcLITE skin from allxboxskins.com for some change. my noobish question is how do i make it work, do i have to change file names and if so which 1's?

Well, you're posting in the wrong forum. I think there's a forum here specifically for skins.

You don't have to do anything, just extract the skins to your PC. And FTP the files/dir into your skin directory of your XBOX.

sorry for the wrong forum. but i extracted the files and ftp'd it over to the box and i don't think i have a thc skin directory. this is what the readme file said...

1. First using Hexbe, patch your xbe file with the satinred.xbp
2. Now just put the skin.xip in your thcdata folder and you have the skin installed.

so can u put this in noob terms?

are you using thc as a dash? (you didnt specify) if not it wont work....

i'm not that much of a noob! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) but yea i have thcLITE as my dash, but i don't have a skins directory. so do i just change my xbe to the satinred.xbp and change the skin.xip too?
