Need To Use Thermal Paste On Gpu?

I just got a gpu heatsink for Flexia today and was wondering if i need to put new thermal paste on the gpu once i take off my told one. thx

yes you do. there has to be a layer to transport the heat from the chip to the heatsink...

you need the thermal paste, otherwise the chip will retain all the heat and sizzle..............
mostly any kind should work...just as long as its not shittty and really really cheap

Artic Silver 5 Thermal Paste ($6 bucks, from either Xoxide or CoolerGuys or FrozenCPU )

its the best kind out there
