I need some help to learn creating shadows.

gaussian blur is your friend

what I do generally if its something straight forward like that is duplicate the layer, color overlay of black/ little bit of blue. I use the transform tools to get it to the right perspective. Then gaussian blur till I get the softness of the edges i want then change the opacity till it works right. Sounds easier than it is, I usually make shadows 3 or 4 times before Im happy with one.

oh yea, and to do little touch ups use a oversized 0% hardness brush. but thats just how I roll

much better, i would blur slightly more or mess with opacity, though it is much much more believeable then the first rendition. you'll get it

Oooops! Y'all are probably too young to remember that. Something I re-conjured out of the early '70s. Street is Neat is something from the hot rodder / street rodder crowd. Just a retro phrase.

i like it, just brighten up the letters just a bit so it will be easier to read....hard to read when blended in with the fence
