Glad you all find the manual useful.

Please, please, please, please, please help keep it up to date - I have far less time nowadays than I used to, and would prefer to spend that time improving the engine than keeping the manual up to date!

Simple things like fixing it to the 2.1 format <control type="" id=""> etc. would be a great help.

ive used the manual on a regular basis
but there are still quite a few things i cant seem to find out
like how to turn or create a submenu button like the scripts button
im trying to make a skin that is like the windows interface
id show some screenshots but i dont know how to upload them
LOL

anyhow if i could find the info on the submenu buttons
id be pretty close to finish
im using Project Mayhem III as my base hopefully this is ok with the author

So you are trying tomake a button that opens the submenu or you are trying to make a button in the submenu?

Hey man i appriciate the offer but im not even sure what exactly im trying to do
ive never written a skin before so im kinda learning as i go
if you or anyone else wants to help i appriciate it but i dont know where im going with this yet
when i know more about it i will definatly be doing something

and to answer you CHI3f Im trying to make a new submenu
and id like to do like the win start menu with menus off of it

You can't make a new submenu but you can make any window have the appearance of one.

Ive edited the scripts submenu and id like to make it like the start menu in windows
when you click on all programs and another menu comes off of it
is this possible

i uploaded my skin to the xbox and its a no go
but it works fine with xbmc_pc
any ideas?
