San Andreas: How To Remove Cheat Message Before Saving
« on: January 06, 2006, 03:25:00 AM »

Each time I go to save my game in GTA:SA a message appears telling me that it might not save properly as cheats have been activated.

The only cheat I've ever used is to spawn a helicopter a couple of times, so is there a way to remove the fact that it constantly reminds me ?!

It saves without a problem, it's just annoying having to 'OK' the cheat message everytime.

cheers

Thanks Glasnost, I don't know why I didn't think of that.

There was a guy in the hardware forum complaining that his xbox FRAGs after installing a modchip, could you help him out too ? Maybe suggest he buys a new xbox ?

Seriously though, a flag must be set somewhere when a cheat is activated, I was just wondering if there was a file I could manually edit by ftp'ing onto the box.

Dude, this IS San Andreas ?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Thanks for the pointer anyway, no I haven't tried it but will do.

It's all academic at the moment anyway, cos my little black box refuses to boot since I moved it from one room to another. Grrrrrrrrr...........
