The University of Bradford announced today it has been giving suggestions and advice for Microsoft's XNA Game Studio Express, a new set of applications that allow video game enthusiasts the chance to create their own games for the Xbox 360.

Head of Electronic Imaging and Media Communications (EIMC) at the University of Bradford, Dr Ian Palmer, said: "We're very pleased to be part of the initial launch of Microsoft's XNA Game Studio Express. I did Game Design at college, only thing we could use was 3DStudioMax. I'm not doing Game Design at Uni, I'm doing Ba Interactive Design, I hope I can use XNA during my 3 years at Uni to demonstrate some interactive ideas I have.
