Ontario-based Sandvine announced today that using its network traffic tools it has identified a surge in traffic and hosts for Xbox Live across North American broadband networks in the fall after the release of new Xbox games.

Even more important, the Xbox Live traffic surge identified in the fall spiked once again over the holidays and has maintained a high level of traffic volumes and hosts.

I love XBox Live!  Not only Crackdown demo, but Gears of War is sure adding to that traffic as well!  I noticed some crazy Halo 2 traffic is up with the "Rule of 3" promo to get into the Halo 3 beta program.  I was getting matches set up quicker than ever these past few days as well (besides it being the weekend of course)!  XBox Live is just gonna get more loaded, you haven't seen anything yet!

Not in my house. Not a 360 and sure as hell not a TV which can only go up to 1080i. If I would go for a new LCD screen, it would be one which can show 720p natively or 1080p (across component video, VGA and DVI-D/HDMI) natively.

I've been playing gears of war a lot ..really addictive. I think it's the best game to play live. And i live in Brazil, i mean, it's not even a country "allowed" to have a xbox live account ...i believe there are others in my situation ...maybe a lot of people ...

But i can't deny it's fun to play Full Auto too ...i just love my xbox360!
