Highly doubtful. Not a lot to a probe to get messed up. Have you done Martinchris23 suggestion?

I'm sure people will come to this thread after a Google search about the green light problem. I know I did. So, before you go buy a whole new CKv3 or Probe hear me out.

The USB capability for the CKv3 is faulty. I was about to order a whole new Probe, but before I did I tried the serial cable connection. It worked. Please try a serial cable before you go out and spend a lot of money on more hardware. This post might be the answer you were looking for on Google.
