I've modded many a ms28 with the bad flash recovery method with no problems.

This one is giving me problems.

Background: Customer brought it to me saying it just stopped reading any games. Noticed that the warranty sticker was already gone so it had definitely been tampered with.

I opened it up and found that the white plastic piece that controls the movement of the laser (the piece that is screwed the laser itself) was loose. So i got it back into place, voila now it plays original games.

Now onto the modding part:

I plug it up to my via chipset like i always do. Dump the firmware with iprep to the USB card no problems.

reboot PC reboot xbox 360

fsam etc etc.

after the port error I turn the 360 back on and it won't flash. the 360 power light just blinks repeatedly. and nothing happens.

anyone have any idea what is going on or what someone else might have done to the 360 to make it do this?
