hi guys, i have an hitachi 78fk drive which i want to put iextreme on. there is an old hacked firmware on it at the moment which is still not banned, so want to update asap.

the problem is i dont have the original.bin and im using firmware toolbox 4, i do, tools, direct drive dump then save it as current, then open it, but in the description it reads HITACHI-GDR3120L-0078 - [XTRM:MAX:78:V1.6

is this my original firmware, cos i read this in the tutorial

 MAKE SURE THE DETAILS SHOWS AN FULLY ORIGINAL FILE, if labels as "Spoofed"
   or "XTREME" appear on the details then IS NOT AN ORIGINAL FILE.

and wonder if im safe? please help thanks

You can use the hacked firmware on the current drive to get the drive's key, then inject it into the new ixtreme firmware and flash away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
