Sounds about right...you only get about 13 gigs total.  The rest of the spaced is reserved for system use and what not.

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can delete the pre-loaded videos and songs. This should increase space an extra gig so.

You can easily add a USB HD to your 360 and have about as much space as you want.  You will need to partition the sucker as a FAT32 drive though.

yeah people seem to think that the 20gb hdd u have u can only use 13gb or whatever..

what they dont realise is theres music, and HIGH DEF uncompressed (well not like divx compressed) video. there may be only a few minutes, but it all adds up.

there is nothing big that eats up the drive accept those videos. dashboard files arent really stored on the drive, seeing as this would make the core un operational.

so yeah, delete those videos, and the music, all your profiles, the hexic game, and ull proly have close to 18gb

lets not forget the drive will be 20gb unformatted, and as we all know formatting a drive takes up space smile.gif

none the less, that 20 gig fills up fast. mines full smile.gif

i wonder if u can replace the actual drive with say 100gb. by that i mean remove the 20gb all together from the case and put in the 100gb. anyone here ever dissasemble the casing see if it uses standard connectors?
