Okay well its not a regular cable that can be extended its like a thin plastic cable.

As I don´t own a Slim I can´t tell, but sounds like a FFC to me, count the pins, take some measurements and try to find an equal cable, there are some ways to put 2 or more of these cables together without an adaptor (using plexi to press 2 of these together wroks pretty well.

Still you could do it as I did to move the ROL of my normal Xbox360 for my suitcase Mod, just solder cables to the Motherboard and the ROL daughterboard directly (idk what the Slim ROL looks like so i can´t tell if it´s possible to do or not, although I guess it is possible pictures would may help)
