Xgd3 Backups On A Mac
« on: April 25, 2013, 08:05:00 AM »

Been out of the game for a LOOONNNGGG time so bear with me.

Buddy came to me and asked if i could mod his drive.  LiteOn 7x series, now flashed with LT 3+

He has a Mac.

I'm trying to help him out and find info about burning backups on his Mac.

As i have a JTAG, i haven't burned a game in YEARS, so i haven't kept up on all the XGD3 stuff.

I've read a couple of things about truncating the disc.  Is this "ok" to do?  What exactly gets truncated?

He is NOT interested in playing on live, at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased isoBurn for my 360 backups...

Not sure about the truncating stuff.. I personally have a flashed lite-on iHAS drive that writes the full XGD3 game..
