Audio But No Picture

my friends xbox 360 is playing up. All we hear is the sound but no picture. no red lights are coming up and we've tried a working AV cable.

I'm guessing probably a dodgy solder points.

Does anyone have an idea?

There are tons of threads about this in this forum, and in the General/Hardware forum. Basically X-clamp replacement will sometimes fix this, sometimes you can fix it with a heat gun (I did) if you do it right, or a reflow of the GPU. It could be a short or a bent pin in the A/V socket as well, but if it happened out of the blue it most likely isn't. This is basically error code 0102, just without the lights.

Happened a few times to a few systems i do work on. The xclamp will most likely help you out
