the sony KD-30XS955 is generally considered THE best CRT in my size/price range($880) but the question is can i afford it? some places list it high as $1200+ others have it in the 700-800~ range........i want the best i can get for my money and this is what i want, has anyone tryed asking local bestbuys/circuitcitys/sams clubs to order one and remember the price. PLZ i need something to compare to my uncles new 50inch samsung plasma.......that thing is sooooooooooooo beeaautiful(IQ wise......i OBVIOUSLY do NOT have $4000 to buy one like he does......its nice though tobad cable looks like total shit sitting 4 feet away from it on a bed)

I got a similar Sony 30" widescreen HDTV as well.  I saw them at circuit city about 2 weeks ago for $750.  Than you can use a 10% off coupon and get it even lower.  Its an awesome TV.  I love it.  Regular cable looks just as good on it as a normal tv, but when that normal tv is compared with HDTV, it looks awfull.
