Hey man, just write a simple scheme, which wires goes where...do I have to open the big connector with optical output (it's a big mess inside), or just the d-terminal connector ?

I succed, after working 6 ours on...that was hard, I completely removed the wires from the main connector, rewired them using the vga scheme, rebuild the pcb inside the connector to keep the switch for normal TV.

Just fallow the vga scheme, don't forget to wire all the grounds to the main ground  and connect to the vga connector RGB wires, ground wires, H & V sync. There are 3 thin wires that goes to the optical connector, keep them (+5, spdif, gnd). Other thin wires remove (this way the switch has no function). Be carefull at mod wires wich gives the vga, hdtv, composite signal. If you want to keep the switch, it needs some rebuilding the small pcb inside the main xbox connector. I want to post a scheme, but can't find any file uploader... blink.gif

@Adamq: In the last picture the screen sais D3 (1125i / 1080i). This is a HDTV resolution not VGA... blink.gif

ico78, did you ever figure out which wires go where?  I just picked up a Japanese 360 and was considering doing this mod.
