Faulty Console? Faulty Tvhd Or Bad Av/hd Cables?
« Reply #15 on: December 27, 2005, 01:44:00 PM »

There was one thing I didn't try yet. I tried to put my 360 horizontally but it was worst. It froze in Xbox Live Arcade...

Nwayz, i'll call M$ after January 1st to send my console in. I'll keep y'all updated with the HDD backup question.

I called them yesterday and began the RMA process.  I was advised to remove the HDD and only send the 360 and PSU.

Nice thanx alot man! I wonder how could I figure if the main problem is really the console or the HDD. If i send my console and it's not the problem itself am I fucked ?

yer you would be fucked considering there is basically no way that the hd would (reasonably) cause game freezing, considering the games are designed to run without the hd

Anyone else who's had this problem, was it easy for MS to fix it for you?  I'm getting ready tomorrow to call mine in and am wondering what to expect.
