Usb To Sata?

hey. i've seen the X360 USB before, but it way too exspensive. if i was to but a SATA to USB converter from another site (http://www.tigerdire...p?EdpNo=1699339) would it work to flash my dvd drive? i dont have a my 360 yet but im planning on getting a 360 elite. will it work to flash my drive if my drive isnt a BENQ?

well, it wont let me edit my post so i decided to change which one i was gonna buy. heres a cheaper one thats the same thing by the looks of it. it says in the description it supports dvd and hard drives that are SATA

Chances are it won't work as the Hitachi 78k needs a sata card and so does the Hitachi 79 .No sata-usb will work with the elite .

well, do you mean it needs to have sata built into the PC? or do u mean i need a SATA PCI CARD

just buy a simple VIA SATA card for like $15 on ebay (maybe even less).
