This is not a big problem just a little annoying .

I have 2 XBOX 360's they both can connect to XBL and most of the time me and my son can play against each other on Rainbow Six LV , but we have problems doing ranked matches some time it works sometimes it doesnt ..

 Today we tried , he made a room for 10 people and set language to spanish so not everyone and the mother would try and enter and 360 would not find the match after many attempts i gave up , he had no one is his room ?

player matches seem to be no problem ..

i'am assuming that the XBL is seeing us somehow on the same connection ?  we were in a 8 player ranked match that i had created 10 mins before and it worked fine ..

is there in settings i may change on xbox or on my router to prevent this problem ..

currently everything is set to factory settings ..

Sounds like a problem with your router.  What make and model is it?  I've run three 360's through my router and have never had any problems with Live as you are describing.
