Question About Wireless Router
« on: November 19, 2006, 08:56:00 PM »

Just wondering if it is possible or if anyone has used a netgear wgr614 v6 instead of the standard wireless adapter.  I happen to have one laying around and it would be great if it would work.  Thanks

Question About Wireless Router

If it is USB...then no.  If it is a wireless bridge...then it will probably work.  Try it....it's always the easiest way to find out.

Question About Wireless Router
« Reply #2 on: December 06, 2006, 06:16:00 AM »

Hi there... I think he wants to cross connect two routers... i did that works fine. got one DGL4100 and a D624 router.. the 624 is connected via normal ethernet to my 360 and my 4100 is in bridging mode for the mac address of the 624. Works perfectly. Got connection to live and all of my other wireless machines. currently you have to disable dhcp on the router u use on the 360. should be good. an access point will work for this too i think. its bigger then a normal xbox wlan adapter but works too and is lot cheaper. wont change my config though... hope this was what you were asking for.
