Hi all!

i've a Problem with Kawa-X sad.gif

i use Kawa-X 0.11 but it doesn't read a lot of roms....
Like: Power Spikes 2...
Last Blade 1 and 2...
Garou,the mark of the wolves...

and others sad.gif

what can i do?? maybe i should change something?

Ps: What's your favourite Xbox Emulator?? i would like to Emu all Mame's Romz
and not only cps1 cps2 and neogeo =)

1 - do you have the NeoGeo bios zip in the roms folder?

2 - if you do are the files in the zip correctly named?

1)i've the Neogeon.zip ^^

2) it should be smile.gif is it correct garou.zip, Last_blade_2, Power_Spikes_2 ???


ps: cps1 and 2 have the same problem sad.gif

i've burned a CD-RW,putting all files and directories inside the RW (the roms in Roms Directory)

and i can play only Metal Slug 4, KoF2002, Ghouls n'Ghosts, Xmen vs SF, Double Dragon, Rage of Dragons, Knight of the round table, SF Alpha3 smile.gif

S.Sidekicks, Pw Spikes2 Last Blade and Garou doesn't appears sad.gif
i've refreshed a lot of times sad.gif

you only need to have the following files in the neogeo.zip

000-lo.lo
ng-sm1.rom
Sfix.sfx
Sp-s2.sp1


no dirs or other files in the zip, just those files.

Check SupportedGames.txt in your Kawa-X folder on how you should name the files. Last_blade_2.zip is NOT correct, lastbld2.zip is.

use romcenter and the kawa-x dat from the original kawa-x to check your roms.

i know you're using the hacked version cuz you mentioned a few banned games and its not supported in this forum even tho you're asking about games that are already in kawa-x.

do what i said and you'll be playing those in no time beerchug.gif

i found this 0.11 in a Zip with some roms sad.gif
and i haven't a .txt file smile.gif

I'm not certain here, but I think you may be using a hacked version of Kawa-X (and this may be why you're having problems) I don't think either KoF2002 or Metal Slug 4 are supported by Kawa-X (but they are supported by the hacked flavors) Try getting the official release off xbins, and see if you have the same problem.

Also, make sure all of your roms are named correctly...

What I meant when I said "Try getting the official release off xbins" was try getting the official release off xbins. It's an irc channel on efnet, and you'll find a tutorial or two detailing how you access it elsewhere on xbox-scene. Or, if you're familiar with IRC, log onto efnet, and go to #xbins; the rest will become apparent when you get there.

umm i already said he is using the hacked kawa-x pop.gif  but anyway like he said xbins should have original.

you could also use a dat from either winkawaks 1.45-48. can't use 1.49 since it uses updated neogeo roms which won't work on kawa-x (same for fbax)

you burn it as a data disc, theres tutorial on burning in the hompage of xbox-scene.
