If it is only a matter of MHz, why can't a Dreamcast emulate an N64?  If I remember correctly...an N64 was about 33 MHz.

yeah, i need to know that too.

If not, can someone tell me if there is a POSSIBILITY that there will be a PS2 emulator someday?

I have the choice between buying a XBOX or a PS2 in the next week.

I want to play some PS2 games but if the XBOX can handle them, i'll buy a XBOX.

thx

The PlayStation2 is practically impossible to emulate.

This is a stupid question, because there is no computer ps2 emulator out yet!  How to port an emulator that doesn't even exist?

Cmon people, quit asking this question. Do you think a 733mhz PC would be able to emulate a PS2?

In either case, I'm so sick of seeing poor PS2 ports to the xbox that theres no WAY I'd want ACTUAL PS2 games on it.

If you want to play Grand Theft Auto, go play it on your PC.

You wouldn't like to play Devil May Cry or Tenchu3? What about the BeatMania IIDX series? PlayStation2 has good games.

There was a PS2 Emulator for the PC Sony had them in court for years and then finally deceided to just buy the company. I believe that was a 2 years ago.

I would rather have a Dreamcast Emulator then a PS2 Emulator for the Xbox though.  But the way SEGA is going "Xbox Is A Dreamcast 2" we wont need one.   Damn I wish we had 18 Wheeler though.
